I have been lucky enough to try out some makeup products from New Zealand's brand Living Nature. A couple of weeks back browsing their website and doing some research on natural makeup and skincare I was very intrigued, I had never tried natural makeup before. Nonetheless, I got to put a small range of Living Nature makeup products to the test. Living Nature is New Zealand's original, certified natural skincare company since 1987. Their makeup line is becoming more and more recognized after trying out their makeup products I can see why!

Living Nature Foundation* - Pure Beige RRP $55.00 NZD

I'm not surprised the Living Nature foundation has won awards "Best liquid foundation in 2014 edition of The Ultimate Natural Beauty Bible". Living Nature comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a pump. Upon pumping any product out make sure to shake well, so the minerals and other ingredients mix well. The light-weight formulation and fantastic coverage and evening out skin tone, it leaves the skin feeling soft, fresh and flawless. It's not to heavy on the skin making it perfect those up coming summer months. I got the shade "pure beige" A darker shade with pink undertones that is suited best for tanned or olive skin tones. This shade did not match me, but a couple of drops of The Body Shop custom lighting drops made the world of difference. When summer is more upon us and I break out the fake tan it will be a perfect match. Tips: Before applying the foundation use a moisturiser, use a blending sponge to blend the foundation and work quite quickly as it dries fast.

Living Nature Luminous Pressed Powder* - Medium RRP $58.00 NZD

Another award winning product! The product is 100% vegan and was a winner of the "Best Powder" Green Parent Natural Beauty awards in 2011. This powder comes in a gorgeous matte black aluminium case that feels luxurious with the logo embossed on the top. Inside this case is a refillable powder, a sponge for application and also a mirror inside. Perfect in all respects for carrying along in your hand bag. The powder is made up of natural minerals, created to give this powder a reflective and refractive ability. The aim is to add a soft luminous glow to your complexion. The website clearly states that the powder appear darker in the pan than on the complexion so choose a shade darker than you would normally wear. I have the shade medium and it matches perfectly. The powder is very fine, non cakey and non drying.

Living Nature Lipstick* - Laughter 05 RRP $33.00 NZD

For any of you's that don't know, I am a massive lipstick junkie and have a rather large "pink" collection of lipsticks. Nothing like the shade "Laughter", which is a darker pink with slight blue undertones with a hint of shimmer. Laughter applies super smoothly which is due to the nourishing waxes and it's beautifully pigmented with natural pigments. Living Nature is available online.
