Get ready to pucker up and add some Romance in your life with this LA Girl Romance luxury lipstick. Am I impressed? Oh yes, I am impressed, I picked this up from my local gold coin store for $6.50, for that price I honestly thought it’s probably one of those lipsticks were you constantly have to try and layer up the lipstick on my lips for the color pay off, oh boy I was wrong. One swipe across my bottom lip was sensational, so moisturizing with its moisturizing ingredients containing aloe, shea butter and vitamin E. With the lightweight formula it glided on so effortlessly and highly pigmented. With the slanted top, it gives an even full coverage and makes it easy to apply. The longevity of the lipstick is easily 5-6 hours wear if you don’t eat or drink, it’s definitely a lipstick where you have to reapply. I am yet to try to make it matte with applying a thin layer of tissue over my lips and dusting some powder over the top.

Now to the packaging, as you can see it comes in a black tube, with LA Girl written on it in a Metallic purple-pink colour, it definitely stands out. The only thing that concerns me is the lid, it's a standard plastic lid and I feel it could easily crack and break. Putting the lid on is certainly not a problem it clicks in very easy, but I don’t think for me personally, I’d have this carried around in my handbag unless it was very secured. The next thing is the sticker on the lid with the shade colour I definitely don’t like it, it makes it so much harder to find the lipstick especially if you’re on the go and no girl has got time to shuffle through their lipsticks just to find one. Overall for the price, I plan to get a few more for my collection as I like their shade selection but I do feel that they won’t be my go to lipsticks.
