When a new makeup brand has/is launching in NZ, I love to show my support. Bronx Colors is a new makeup brand that is on its way to being launched in NZ. A brand first launched overseas in 2013, with its blend of on-trend collections, high-quality products, and groundbreaking packaging. Against animal testing and have marked themselves as urban cosmetics at very low affordable prices. They very generously sent me an early look at the brand for myself to trial, review and share.

Compact Powder - Medium Beige* RRP $14.99 Available in 6 Shades

Compact powders have forever been a staple in my makeup collection, whether it's for setting my foundation or when I'm on the go and it's time to touch up when those shiny areas appear. I got the shade medium beige, which is a perfect match for my skin tone. This compact comes with an extra large pan, featuring a large window in the front, so you can see the shade your selecting. This compact does a great job at mattifying the face with its silky formula, easy to blend and high coverage that it doesn't look powdery or dry. It makes a great powder for touch ups especially if your oily skinned like myself, without the appearance of looking cakey. I have noticed with this pressed powder there seems to be a lot of fall out if using a powder brush, so you might want to opt for a powder puff when applying then blend with a powder brush.

Intense Blush - Rose RRP* $12.99 Available in 4 Shades

One makeup product that I can't get enough of lately is blush. Seeing this blush amongest all the other makeup products, I had to give this bad boy a whirl. Theirs nothing like this shade in my collection. I got the shade rose and it's absolutely stunning it is a matte formula with the slightest sparkle through it, the formula is very silky and soft and to mention highly, highly pigmented. A light dab in the pan with a blush brush for an ample of color on the cheeks is all that is needed to give a subtle flush of color to the cheeks or for a more intense opaque color you have no worries of building it up as it blends out like a breeze. I can't recommend this enough, you need this blush in your collection. I can't wait to try out the other shades, if I love this one as much I'm sure I'm going to have no problem loving the other shades.

Single Click Shadow Body Case* RRP $8.99

This I love! Build your own eye shadow palette add a blush with this magnetic case with an eyeshadow applicator and an angled brush.Perfect for traveling , you can change up your eye shadow or blush suited for your needs and the best part is, it won't take up much room at all in your suitcase or handbag. Perfect for on the go or if need to change up your makeup look from day to night.

Single Click Eyeshadow* RRP $5.99 Available in 24 Shades

I got the shades Burgundy and Air Force Blue, both stunning shades and very pigmented.

Single Click Blush RRP* $7.99 Available in 8 Shades

The shade Flamingo is a soft coral blush, soft in texture and easily blendable on the cheeks for a subtle pink look.

Super Single Eye Shadows* RRP $7.99 Available in 11 Shades

I am yet to still try these two shades. The first shade is Pearl, it is a creamy shade with fine gold shimmers through it, super soft in texture and can almost be used as a subtle highlight on the brow bone also. The next shade I have here is Black Purple, the name of this speaks for itself. Once swatched I did find it changed in colour, it came across as a dark blackish brown shade but when I apply with an eyeshadow brush onto my lid it may show its true colour like it looks in the pan.

Eye Shadow Set Burlesque* No1 RRP $12.99

This would have to be one of my favourite products! Purely because of the shades, containing 5 shimmery shades and 1 matte shade along with an applicator. Plus the packaging is super cute, covered in black lace with a small bow in the front. I found these shimmery shades are either best suited applied with your finger or with an eye shadow brush firstly sprayed with Mac Fix Plus or anything that is suited and safe for the eye area making the brush wet. I did experience some fall out with using a dry eyeshadow brush, so your best way to go as mentioned above is either your finger or wetting your brush.

Angel Dust Eye Shadow Set* RRP $12.99

This eyeshadow set is Limited Edition, comes in a beautiful tin case. This set contains 5 glittery shades and 1 matte shade. These shades are perfect for a classic smokey eye or toning it down to a natural subtle look with a slight hint of darkness. Once again I did experience them not being very pigmented with a dry eyeshadow brush, so it is very much the same as the Burlesque palette just apply with your finger or a wet eyeshadow brush.

Legendary Lipstick* RRP $14.99 Available in 8 Shades

I am unknown to the shade name but this packaging is super unique. Click the top of the lipstick and the end pops out from the bottom and you just remove it. The shade is a dark berry vampy colour and the formula is super creamy. The shade was not as dark as I hoped for when applied but it is still a beautiful berry shade and for someone who doesn't like dark shades.

Just Matte Lipstick* RRP $11.99 Available in 8 Shades

This lipstick I haven't tried yet apart from swatching. The shade is a beautiful pink with purple undertones. The packaging of this is a little small compared to a standard lipstick size. Despite that, it is a perfect sized lipstick making it easy to apply on the lips and perfectly sized for the cupids bow. The formula is creamy and once swatched it settled down as a semi-matte.

Matte Lip Tint* RRP $14.99 Available in 12 Shades

I'm telling you now, YOU NEED THIS! The most top seller in the range and you're about to find out why. The shade Blossom 1 is right up my alley. The packaging is super cute with a clear window at the bottom so you can see the shade. The applicator is a doe-foot with a pointed end making it super easy to get a precise line. The formula, honestly guys you will not be disappointed this exceeded my expectations. The semi-runny formula applies so easy, streak free and easily buildable gets an A from me and honestly dries down to a matte, you can rub your lips, use a makeup remover wipe this puppy will not remove from your lips! It lasts the entire day/night until your ready to remove it.

Coloured Flavoured LipBalm* RRP $6.99 Available in 6 Shades

I have two shades, Vanilla and Strawberry. Both smell amazing. Perfect for those dried cracked lips. The vanilla shade applies as a clear and the strawberry applies as a subtle hot pink. The formula of these is like a standard lip balm, it is not too waxy or sticky on the lips, and I'm obsessed with the packaging.

Seductive Black Mascara* RRP $14.99

An affordable mascara that defines your lashes, plus curls each lash with its curved wand, look no further. This seductive mascara does it all, and to mention clump free and extremely black in the formula.

Skinny Mascara* RRP $14.99

When I say skinny, I mean skinny. This is my new favourite mascara for getting each bottom lash, perfectly sized, coats each lash perfectly and it's also waterproof. This is a must, you won't be disappointed.

Gel Liner Pot + Applicator* RRP $11.99

I love the formula of this, super soft and so easy to work with. A little bit of product goes a long way and it's so pigmented. Comes with a brush also which I am yet to try out.

Blending Sponge & Precision Sponge* RRP $11.99

I love blending sponges I can not live without them they make applying your foundation so much easier and it looks flawless. This blending sponge is quite dense in texture which personally I love, I did notice though it did not expand when I had wet it, I am not sure if that's how it is made but personally I love the size of the sponge. The precision applicator sponge is perfect for concealer and also doing your whole face and getting in those area's that can be difficult at times.
